Third, you have greater resistance to the common cold. Finally, you have lower rates of depression. These benefits show that when being an optimist you will have greater physical health.

 Being optimistic can also affect your happiness. When you’re optimistic you will be more creative. You will also solve problems faster. You tend to be more mentally awake. Finally, optimism leads to more happy thoughts. When being an optimist you will have a better and happier life.
