Have you ever wondered why we have to smile and be an
optimist? Well, smiling releases feel-good chemicals in the brain. Even a
“fake” smile releases these chemicals. When you’re an optimist you are more
likely to not have chronic illnesses later in your life. Being optimistic
impacts your physical health and your happiness.
Being optimistic can affect your health in a few different
ways. First, when you’re an optimist you will live longer. Second, you have
lower levels of distress. Third, you have greater resistance to the common
cold. Finally, you have lower rates of depression. These benefits show that
when being an optimist you will have greater physical health.
I love how optimistic you are!! And you are so right!! Optimism brings so many blessings and show the Lord were grateful for what He’s given us. 👍🏼
